Great food friendly service yummy ice cream

Stopped in for a couple of burgers and frys coffee shake. No social distance no masks, had to wait 30 min for lunch, coffee shake ended up being vanilla and husband said could of gotten better burger at McDonald's. And very pricey. Used to be my favorite restaurant. Not this year. Unfortunately won't go back.

Scallops were delicious! They were huge and great for the price. Plus, the batter was tasty. Not greasy at all. I look forward to our next trip to Maine so I can stop in this friendly town again for some good eats!

Great food, fairly large menu. They have a small, fenced in play area that was great for my daughter. They have a few picnic tables to eat outside, as well as seating inside.

Love the PB shakes they serve them all year and great clam baskets.

Fried mushrooms are delish! Add a Black Rasberry shake and you have a great summer treat!

We love it. Glad there open again for the season.

Clean with great hamburgers and chicken burger but the french fries always lack any flavor beyond cardboard.

This place is in the middle of Fairfield and has fantastic chicken! I highly recommend going here with friends and people watching!

Me my wife and stepson ate lunch there today. We all got sick and we all think it was the fried clams. They didn't taste right at all and the fried clam basket was the special. It might have been a one time thing but that was enough.

Ordered a chicken basket & a haddock basket to go. Both baskets contained mostly fries, but included only 2 ketchup packages. The little bit of haddock was good & my friend enjoyed his chicken. The prices were average for this area. Could have gotten the same thing at Fairfield House of Pizza for a little less & Cole slaw with it. Probably would have gotten more ketchup too!

just ordered take out from Belangers. While sitting waiting for food, we sat back and watched. no social distancing taking place as everyone was crowded around both the order window and the pick up window. Watched at least 30 -40 people order and pick up while leaning on the counter and never once were surfaces wiped down. I ordered clam basket. The clams were good but only 6-7 in the basket. We won't go back. If the front end isn't being sanitized wonder about kitchen areas.

Wasn't impressed. A lobster roll and rings cost me $30. Barely any lobster in the roll! Basically I paid for bread. Boy that's some expensive bread!!

Chicken is great, but why are they not making french fries instead of using dry frozen awful fries? Otherwise everything is good that I have had but the fries are awful. You could really have a fantastic basket if you did homemade fries. Also the cheap frozen roll is terrible.

Lobster rolls are fantastic! You can have them with mayo or melted butter. Clean eating area. Service is fast.

Food is good and staff friendly, but portions are very small for the price. Mixed seafood basket had 4 small scallops, 3 shrimp, 3 clams, 2 clams strips, and maybe 4 fish fingers. They only give you 1 tartar sauce and charge for more. Small fish sandwich had the same amount of fish fingers on it as the large. Only difference was price and a bigger bun. Surprisingly, the one item that was a large portion was the small deep fried fiddleheads.

My wife and I have never had a bad meal at Belanger's Drive-In. And the prices are better than another local establishment serving similar fare. Belanger's is our chosen eatery for fried food meals. Top Notch service, as well!

As always very good food with great friendly service

I got the pint of fried whole clams for $20 and they were extremely disappointing. They looked huge but were sadly 70% breading (like a thick doughy cornbread-type batter) and 30% clam that was so overcooked the bellies were shriveled up, dried out, and meat was hard and rubbery. Zero flavor, zero moisture. Returned them and was refunded money. Won’t be returning.

Fantastic affordable lobster rolls and quick service! The bun was full of fresh lobster and was awesome :)

Not as good as they use to be,, and Very expensive!

My husband and I go here fairly frequently; the haddock basket is terrific; as are the fried mushrooms and sweet potato fries. Over the course of the years, we've had a LOT of their haddock baskets, a couple of subs, maybe a chicken basket or two. All were good drive-in diner fare. They offer hard and soft ice cream, and (in the fall) apple crisp done right (that would be with the crispy apple part hot, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top). Staff is speedy and good-natured. Belanger's is unique in that it stays open until December 24, so that they may provide tourtiere; and turkey and salmon pies for the holidays.

Awesome food and great space. Love their outdoor space picnic tables and play area for younger kiddos. Delicious! 18 flavors of milka shakes!! Including coffee which McDonald's no longer makes and I absolutely love.

Good Food Fair price the shrimp basket and haddock chowder they were both delicious

The food is usually very very good but I noticed that they must have changed the batter for the chicken, it seems a lot more salty than it was before?

They've gotten better since the New owner has had it, when they 1st took over it wasn't so good but now it's great, keep up the good work

Ordered dinner waited almost 1 hour, many other customers ordered after me and they were served first. I question why others were served first the girl told me their order was easier. I ordered a clam basket, tourtier pie asked for a refund they went & finally got my order.. last time I will go there.

Meatball sub was a bummer. Good meatballs sauce and bread was ehh. Super soggy. Flaming hot tho

Ordered ice cream with coconut and pineapple, received ice cream with neither but was given loads of attitude. Also above the order windows is infested with spiders. Definitely won't be back.

Just stopped in for a great of scallops for an early mother's day to myself. Unfortunatly the scallops are way under cooked and the french fries taste like freezer burn. Also noticed they stuff the roll under everything to make it loom like a fuller plate.

Great food to nosh on, Friendly and great cool treats too..
